Join us for the panel on mathematics education, comparing French and Turkish approaches, at Galatasaray High School’s Tevfik Fikret Hall on Tuesday, December 10th, 2024 (5:30 PM - 8:00 PM).

The event brings together two distinguished speakers: René Cori, former Director of Mathematics Education Research in Paris and President of the Aggregation Jury, will share insights into recent French educational reforms and their impact on university-level education. Alongside him, Dr. Abdulkadir Erdoğan from Eskişehir University, who designed Turkey’s new mathematics program, will present its vision and future directions.

The panel, moderated by Özer Öztürk from Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University, will be conducted in English with French and Turkish translation support available. This event is particularly relevant for high school teachers and education professionals.
